Cauliflower 65
Gobi 65 is one of the famous dish we prepare at home more often. This one is many of us famous recipe. I made this recipe little different as I added Kasturi methi so that it adds extra flavor to the Gobi 65. if you are trying out this recipe, then please let me know how it has turned out for you!
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower - 1, cut into small florets
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Besan flour - 2 tbsp
- Rice flour - 2 tbsp
- Kashmiri chilly powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Garam masala powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Kasturi methi - 2 tbsp, crushed
- Oil for deep frying
Blanch the cauliflower :
- Heat water with some salt and turmeric powder.
- After it comes to a boil, blanch the cauliflower in hot water for 5 minutes.
- Once done, drain it and wash cauliflower florets in cold water. Set aside.
- This step will remove the dirt in cauliflower.
- Add all the ingredients except oil in the cauliflower and mix well.
- Marinate it for about 10 minutes.
- Heat oil for deep frying in a pan. Once oil is hot, fry the cauliflower in medium flame.
- Fry until it turns golden.
- Place the Gobi 65 in paper towel to remove the excess oil.
- Serve hot with freshly sliced onions and lemon.
