VERMICELLI UPMA

Ingredients:-
  • 1 cup vermicelli,
  • Water 2 cup,
  • Salt to taste,
  • 1 small Onion chopped,
  • 1 green chilli chopped,
  • Curry leaves,
  • 3 tbs peanuts,
  • 1/4 tsp mustard,
  • 1/2 tsp jeera,
  • 1/2 tbs chana dal,
  • 1/2tbs urad dal,
  • 1 tbs oil,
  • 1/2 red chilli powder.
METHOD:-Vermicelli upma is one of regular breakfast that is made in most south indian homes.

1:- Boil water in a pan,add 2 tbs oil and add vermicelli and let

 it stand in hot water for 2 minutes.
2:-drain water and allow it to cool down complitly.keep boiled

 vermicelli in open and let it dry out.
3:- now heat oil in pan and add mustered seeds,

curry leaves,jeera,chana dal ,urad dal

.when they start to sputter mix in chopped onion and daure for minutes.
4:- now add chopped tometoes and cooked for another 1 minutes

.now add peanuts and salt.mix well.
5:- now add red chilly powder and boiled vermicelli. 

Mix it well.
6:- serve warm.
