Crispy Masala Dosa Recipe - Tricks & Tips For  Home Made Dosa

 Ingredients:

For Dosa :

  • Raw rice – 1 ½ cup
  • Urad dal-1/2 cup
  • Cooked rice- 2 tbsp
  • Salt –to taste
  • For coconut chutney
  • Green chilli -2 nos
  • Grated coconut -1/2 cup
  • Shallots -6 or 7 nos
  • Mustard seed-1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilli-3 nos
  • Curry leaves -3 sprig
  • Salt –to taste
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Dry red chilli chutney:
  • Dry red chill-7 or 8 nos
  • Shallots- 5 or 6 nos
  • Mustard seed -1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-3 tsp
Method:

For dosa

Firstly we add urad dal and raw riceto a large bowl.rinse them very well and
discard the water.soak it in enough water for 3 or 4 hours.

 Drain the water ,add cooked rice and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste using
1 cup of water.
 Transfer the mixture into a bowl ,add the salt and mix well.
 Cover and ferment in a warm place for ½ day
 Grease a tawa with few drops of oil
 Pour a ladleful of batter on it and spread it in a circular motion
 Then one side is ready, cook on the other side of the dosa
 And serve hot dosa with chutney..
For coconut chutney

First we grind green chilli,grated coconut ,shallots and salt ,keep a side
 Then we take a pan add mustard seed ,allow to splutter add shallots,dry red
chili add curry leaves saute them well
 Then we add grinded coconut paste and little amount of water mix well and
cook some minutes
 Then turn off the flame and serve with dosa
 Enjoy the Tamilnadu food taste
For red chilli chutney
 First we grind the dry red chilli ,shallots and salt ,keep a side
 Take a pan add oil and mustard seed ,allow to splutter add shallots ,dry red
chilli ,curry leaves and saute well
 Then we add grinded red chilli paste add water and mix well
 Cook some minutes and adjust the salt to curry
 Turn off the flame and serve with dosa
 Enjoy the taste
