Chilli Chapathi Home Cooking Recipe This dish is one of my favorite recipes in their menu. I knew about the extra calories am gonna get from that. But still I can’t even control myself from ordering it whenever I visit there. mon always make this chilli chapathi instead of parotta with the left over chapathis. Chilly-Garlic Potato Roast  This is a flavorful and delicious recipe which is best with South Indian meals or can also be served as a snack. This recipe contain only few ingredients and easy to prepare. If you are trying out this recipe then please let me know how it has turned out for you ! To boil potatoes: Boil the potatoes with the below ingredients in pressure cooker for 2 whistles. Sweet Pongal  sweet pongal, is often made as a prasadam for various festivals in South India. However, it is a recipe which must be included in the Pongal menu. You can easily make this mouth-watering dessert recipe at home with simple ingredients like jaggery, moong dal, coconut milk, rice and dry fruits. This delectable recipe is perfect for serving to the guests on special occasions or on get-together like party, potluck, game night, birthday, anniversary. Ingredients (for four people) :- Moong dal - 1cup. Rice - 1cup. Milk Coconut cashew jagerry raisins (dry grapes) cardamom ghee. sweet pongal preparation: Fry the moong dal (before washing) till it becomes little light brown (it will start smelling).  Then soak rice and dal separately for 10 minutes. Bread Uthappam( Breakfast recipes ) Ingredients: White/brown bread slices-10 Rava/sooji-1 tbsp Rice flour-1/2 tbsp Thick butter milk-1 cup Salt-1 tsp more or less Grated carrot-1-1/2 tbsp Capsicum-2 tsp- finely chopped Tomato-2 tsp- finely chopped Ginger-1/2 tsp - grated Green chilli-6- chopped To temper: Oil-1 tbsp Musturd-1/2 tsp Urad dal-1/2 tsp Jeera-3/4 tsp Coriander leaves- chopped-1 tbsp Method: Tear the breads and grind along with Rava, salt, rice flour and butter milk. In a mixing bowl add this along with 1/2 cup of water and whisk well. Add grated carrot,ginger, green chilli, capsicum a and tomato to this. Heat a kadai with oil and temper with items ,once done pour it over the batter. Now take a non stick pan grease with little oil and pour the batter in small circles. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top let it cook one side wait, flip over the other side drizzle again with oiland cook over a medium flame until golden.

Chicken wings (Indian style) This recipe is inspired from a famous restaurant. This recipe is known as Hyderabadi chicken at restaurant’s and it is one of their signature dish. This is such a mouth-watering recipe which my family loves it. Hence decided to try this at home after some research and turned out same as what we have it in restaurant. This can served as a starter or a side for fried rice or noodles. You can also try this recipe with boneless chicken strips. Cauliflower 65  Gobi 65 is one of the famous dish we prepare at home more often. This one is many of us famous recipe. I made this recipe little different as I added Kasturi methi so that it adds extra flavor to the Gobi 65. if you are trying out this recipe, then please let me know how it has turned out for you! How To Make Lollipop Chicken Drumsticks: Ingredients for Chicken Lollypop Recipe Chicken lollypops 14-16 Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons Salt to taste Crushed black pepper1 teaspoons Soy sauce 1 tablespoons Oil Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste 2 tablespoons maida 1/2 cup Cornflour 1/2 cup Spring onion greens Chopped for garnishing Method 1Combine chicken lollypops, ginger-garlic paste, salt,  ½ teaspoon crushed peppercorns and soy sauce in a bowl and mix well.  Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai Combine ginger, garlic, red chilli paste, refined flour, cornflour, salt and remaining crushed peppercorns in another bowl and mix well.  Add little water and mix well till a thick batter is formed. Dip marinated lollypops in the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.

Kadai paneer Ingredients: To dry roast and grind into kadai masala: 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds 4 Dried red chilies broken and seeds removed For kadai paneer recipe: 2 tablespoons Oil ½ cup Onion finely chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 2 ½ cups Tomatoes finely chopped 1 Tomato pureed 1 teaspoon Garam Masala 2 teaspoons Kasoori methi  Salt to taste 1 cup Water 1/2cup Capsicum  200 grams Paneer cut into cubes 3-4 tablespoons heavy whipping cream  1 tablespoon Cilantro or coriander leaves finely chopped Instructions: First make fresh kadai masala: Dry roast the coriander seeds and dried chilies on medium heat. Keep stirring constantly. As it toasted you will get nice aroma of coriander seeds. also chillies will get darker in color. Remove it to a plate or bowl and let it cool completely. VERMICELLI UPMA Ingredients:- 1 cup vermicelli, Water 2 cup, Salt to taste, 1 small Onion chopped, 1 green chilli chopped, Curry leaves, 3 tbs peanuts, 1/4 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp jeera, 1/2 tbs chana dal, 1/2tbs urad dal, 1 tbs oil, 1/2 red chilli powder. METHOD :-Vermicelli upma is one of regular breakfast that is made in most south indian homes. 1:- Boil water in a pan,add 2 tbs oil and add vermicelli and let  it stand in hot water for 2 minutes. 2:-drain water and allow it to cool down complitly.keep boiled  vermicelli in open and let it dry out. 3:- now heat oil in pan and add mustered seeds, curry leaves,jeera,chana dal ,urad dal .when they start to sputter mix in chopped onion and daure for minutes. 4:- now add chopped tometoes and cooked for another 1 minutes .now add peanuts and salt.mix well. 5:- now add red chilly powder and boiled vermicelli.  Mix it well. 6:- serve warm.

Rava Laddoo

Rava Laddoo Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups rava 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup ghee 4-5 cardamoms , powdered 2 tbsp cashew nuts cut into very small pieces 2 tbsp raisins Method: Roast the rava in the 2 tbsp ghee till light golden in colour. Mix the sugar,roasted rava and cardamom and powder fine in a dry grinder. Heat the remaining ghee,fry the cashew nuts and raisins. Add to the rava-sugar mixture. Shape into tight laddoos (small round balls). The laddus can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.

Home Made Paneer

Home-made Paneer Ingredients: 5 cups of whole milk 2 tsps lemon juice Method: Boil the milk in a open pan. When it's boiling, add the vinegar and wait for the milk to curdle completely. Take it off the fire and let it sit for 10 minutes. Pour it onto a cotton/muslin cloth and tie it with a tight knot. When all the water is drained from the paneer, shape it into a large rectangular block,transfer it into another piece of paper/cloth, wrap it properly and refrigerate it overnight. Cut into cubes and deep fry in hot oil. Drain and store in the frezer.
